“Sorority threads tell the stories of women who make skeins against sexist violence. A project that aims to denounce sexist violence through collective action, represented by a woven artistic piece. This consists of a large collective link, under construction, which already exceeds 6 km and has traveled through Asturias, Madrid, Toledo, Valencia, Alicante, Navarra, Lisbon, Tunisia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and will continue traveling through new destinations. In this project weaving is the vehicle around which very diverse women come together, who become weavers in struggle, and from sorority they are planted against sexist violence. The Skein is a symbolizing space, in which each piece is an absence, a usurped life ”.
