Javier Albalá

Actor with extensive experience in film, theater and television; trained as an actor and director with teachers such as William Layton, Juan Carlos Corazza, Augusto Fernandes, Judit Wayner, Héctor Aristizábal, Luchy López, etc. in different theatrical disciplines. With more than twenty films to his credit, many of them starring. He starred in several prime-time television series on different Spanish television networks and streaming platforms. He writes for both film and theater, having also directed several short films and theatrical productions. He currently combines his acting work on television and theater with teaching as an acting teacher and actor coach, having developed a working method, the result of the study and training of Gestalt therapy, of the foundations of Contemplative Psychology, of Family Constellations. and Movement Techniques and Psychocorporeal and Transpersonal Therapy, which he teaches in various centers: Act from the Heart.

María Guerra

A Leonese living in Madrid, María Guerra began her career in film and television working from the beginning as a script and therefore in continuous training with directors such as José R. Paíno, Vicente Aranda, Marcelo Piñeyro, Miguel Cohan, Daniel Monzón and Félix Viscarret.

She has participated in numerous television series and has been the script in more than 30 films such as El Club De Los Suicidas, El Method, Cell 211, Sin Retorno, Ismael, Vientos de La Habana, Intemperie, etc.

As a teacher, she has been giving workshops on continuity since 2007 in several film schools and also collaborates with the USAL, the Public University of Salamanca and the Carlos III of Madrid.

She has directed three fiction short films and the documentary entitled An unexpected trip, shot in part in the province of León and premiered at the 33rd Medina del Campo Film Week.

Coke Riobóo

(Madrid, 1970) Musician, composer and entertainer. He has directed and animated five short films, and internet series, and several commercial projects. He has composed the soundtrack for several short films and three feature films and teaches animation in workshops around the world. Winner of a Goya award for his short film El Viaje de Said (2006). Filmography: Mad In Xpain (2019) stop motion animated short film; Made In Spain (2016) stop motion animated short film; El ruido del mundo (2013) animated short film in plasticine on glass; El viaje de Said (2006) stop motion animated short film and La Telespectadora (2001) stop motion animated short film.

Carlota Coronado

Born in Madrid in 1978. Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid (1996-2001) and Doctor in Information Sciences (2007), she is a professor at the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense. She alternates her facet as a teacher with the production and direction of short films. She has directed eleven short films, including Libra, Perder el tiempo, Luciérnaga, Asesinato en la Villa, 16 semanas and La eminencia. Together with Giovanni Maccelli, he has created a short film production company, Zampanò Producciones, whose shorts have obtained more than 1,200 selections at festivals around the world and numerous awards, including the Goya for the best animated short in 2015 for Juan y la nube or the Silver Biznaga at the Malaga Festival for the documentary feature ¿Por qué tan pocas?

Marta Solano

Director and screenwriter at Burbuja Films. She has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Salamanca and in Anthropology from the University of Barcelona. Marta is a founding partner of Burbuja Films and president of LA PACCA (Associated Production Companies of Cantabria for Cinema and Audiovisuals). She has participated in various audiovisual projects in Cantabria as a director, production director or assistant director. Among her latest works as a director and screenwriter, Mujeres de la Mar (2014) stands out, with more than 30 selections in national and international festivals and with several national awards, as well as Mis dos mitades awarded at the Avilés Acción Film Festival or Mujeres del Campo which has been awarded by the Field jury at the Aguilar Film Festival 2020.

Clara Santaolaya

Clara Santaolaya has been in the audiovisual sector for 10 years. She has directed, scripted and produced several short films, among which, due to their size and her journey, Pangea (2015) and Nuestra Calle (2019) stand out. In addition, she has directed numerous video arts, video essays, and video clips. She has also worked as an Assistant and Assistant Director on numerous prime time television series. Similarly, she has worked as an executive production assistant, specializing in international co-production projects. On the other hand, she has published a multitude of film reviews in various specialized media, has participated in numerous conferences and academic publications, and has taught classes in film script and narrative. This year, in addition, she has published her doctoral thesis “We the people: Figurations of the taking of the street in the history of cinema” Finally, she has founded the production company Batiak Films, focused on the production and co-production of film and television fictions at the national and international level.

Eva Testa

Architect by the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Valladolid. Trained in Spain and France, since 2006 she directs the Arquitesta studio, a multidisciplinary team with experiences in countries such as Mexico and Algeria, specialized in residential architecture, contract projects and interior design. A grant from the Santa María la Real Foundation and the MUSAC, her work explores the link between architecture and the world of the arts, both in its more traditional facet materialized in the rehabilitation of unique buildings, as well as in the creation of contemporary spaces. She has collaborated with articles in various specialized publications and made presentations at international congresses and other conferences related to the subject. She is Treasurer of the Official College of Architects of León (COAL) and its Cultural Foundation (FUNCOAL) since 2014, and Vice Dean since 2019.

Chus Domínguez

Audiovisual creator who works in the orbit of documentary cinema. His work has been screened at festivals such as Locarno, Oberhausen, BAFICI, Vila do Conde, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, etc., as well as at art centers such as Reina Sofía, MUSAC, Ca2M, La Casa Encendida, Anthology Film Archives , etc. With the DEAC MUSAC (Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla y León) he has launched the LAAV_ (Laboratory of Experimental Audiovisual Anthropology). He is part of the Orquestina de pygmies collective, with which he has performed in various European countries. He is a professor at the Diploma in Documentary at the ECAM (Madrid Community Film School) and at the Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca

Nuria Prieto

Ponferrada, 1985. She is an architect from the ETSA Coruña (2009), a master’s degree in rehabilitation (2010) and a PhD from the UDC (outstanding Cum Laude, 2014). She began her career in recognized architecture studios (Carlos Quintáns, Francisco Mangado & Asociados). At present she develops her independent professional activity as an architect.

She has developed the contents and assembly of the exhibition “Unfinished” at the XV Venice Architecture Biennale, awarded with the Golden Lion. She writes for the architecture magazine Tectónica. She has developed international research projects such as “Gaza Denouncing by design”.

Her publications include articles in Tectónica, Engawa, Arquitectura Viva or Quincemil. And the books “Construction manual for mini-architects” and “Prada Poole. Air structures, buildable utopias ”. In her career, the Europan 13 awards (2015) or the X Arquia Doctoral Thesis Award (finalist, 2015), the Hume Research Award 2016, the Driehaus Foundation (Runner Up, 2017) stand out. She has been a visiting professor at various schools such as City College of New York, Esarq UIC Barcelona, ​​Escuela de Arquitectura de Tucumán, ETSA Sevilla or ETSA Valladolid.

Isabel Ampudia

Spanish actress born in León. She trained in different schools, she also has a degree in Philosophy from the UAM. She has worked both in television, film or theater. On television, she in different episodes of series such as “Sin identidad”, “La ira”, “Médico de familia” or “Motivos personales”, to name a few. In theater, her latest works are “Lo último que quiero”, “Veneno para ratones”, “El tiempo y los Conway” or the recent “Zarabanda”. In cinema she is known for “Taxi” (Aisge award for best supporting actress at the San Sebastian Festival), “Los sin nombre”, “15 días contigo” (which earned her a Goya nomination for best newcomer actress and awards such as the Turia for best actress) or the recent “Todo saldrá bien” and “La primera cita” (award for best actress at the Benalmádena Festival and at the Smr 13 Festival International Du Film Independant, France).

Oskar Tejedor

An Industrial Engineer and Designer by training, he began as a producer of animated films and soon switched to scriptwriting and author documentaries. He has written and made a dozen internationally awarded documentaries, as well as numerous short fiction films.

He has directed and coordinated the LAU HAIZETARA International Co-Production Forum at the San Sebastián International Festival during its first 10 years. Likewise, he has collaborated as a consultant and project tutor in international festivals: FIPA- Biarritz, EICTV-Cuba, ANIMASIVO-México, MVO-Panamá.

Regarding teaching, he has given classes in different educational centers, and currently teaches documentary film workshops.

Juanma G. Colinas

(Toreno, 1982). Journalist, blogger and Digital Communication consultant specialized in Social Media. Teacher / trainer at various universities and companies. Author of the blog Plumilla Berciano (www.plumillabeciano.com). Speaker at congresses, seminars, conferences and events.                                                                                                                                         Degree in Journalism from the Pontifical University of Salamanca. University Expert in Corporate Communication (Communication Offices in Institutions and Companies) from the Complutense University of Madrid.

He has been a freelance consultant for 10 years. He has previously worked for various media outlets, agencies, and advertising companies.

On his blog, Plumilla Berciano has organized the “Ciberbotillada” contest for 13 years, in which he gives away botillos del Bierzo throughout Spain and whose winners visit Bierzo to collect their prizes.

Guillermo Navajo

Guillermo Navajo is an Assistant Director (AD) of cinema and series from Leon with more than 55 credits and 22 years of experience. He has worked in film alongside renowned directors such as Fernando León de Aranoa in “Loving Pablo”. He has recently signed with Fernando Colomo as Director of the Second Unit in “Cuidado con lo que deseas” and as AD in “Antes de la quema” and “Rivales”; “Miel de naranjas” and “Lejos del mar” by Imanol Uribe; “Que se mueran los feos” by Nacho García Velilla; “El verano que vivimos” by Carlos Sedes or “Erase una vez en Euskadi”, among others. In series as Director Coordinator in “La Peste” by Alberto Rodríguez; “HIT” by Joaquín Oristrell (TVE); “El vecino” (Netflix); “Fugitiva” (TVE / Netflix); “Desaparecidos” (Mediaset / Amazon); “Buscando el norte” and “Marisol” (Atresmedia).

Raquel Mirón

In 2009 she began her career as an actress and with “Hamlet”, a play directed by Juan Diego Botto she made her first national tour. She creates her own company Descoordidas with the artist Ana Barcia. “A veces me pierdo”, “Maldita quietud” and “Casi ocurre lo mismo que aquella vez” will go through different venues and national and international festivals.

It is in 2018 when she begins her relationship with the Andalusian company Tenemos Gato for her montage “Felicidad”, a work with which they are currently on tour and garnering numerous relevant awards and critics. She highlights the 2018 Max Awards Nomination for Best New Authorship. In addition to being an actress, she also works as an assistant director for the company, adding three productions: “Felicidad”, “La Perra” and “Algunos días”.

He graduated in Audiovisual Communication and works for different institutions, schools and collaborates with the Complutense University of Madrid, where he teaches different interpreting courses.

Adrián Castro Viejo

Visual effects artist from Ponferrada. She has been working in London since 2016, for the most important studios in the sector such as Dneg in Wonder Woman, No Time to Die, Infinite or Tenet; Jellyfish Pictures in Star Wars: The Last Jedi; MPC in The Lion King or Maleficent; Framestore in Wonder Woman 1984 and in Industrial Light and Magic, the company that created the effects of films such as Terminator 2 or Jurassic Park, in which she worked in the concert with digital avatars of Abba Voyage. He has also worked at the Spanish company El Ranchito de Madrid, on projects such as Game of Thrones. Several of the projects in which he has participated were nominated for Oscars in the VFX category, such as The Lion King or Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Tenet was awarded the award at the last gala. He is a speaker at various talks and workshops in Ponferrada, where he has always tried to share his knowledge of the audiovisual sector.

Jorge Vega

(Ponferrada, 1979) he studied at the School of Image and Sound in Bemposta. Later he moved to Madrid where he continued to train him in different courses of direction, script and editing, beginning his career in the professional world in 2001.

He has worked for TVG, TeleMadrid and TVE. In the field of advertising, he has shot various spots, including the announcement of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil directed by Oliver Stone. He has also appeared in several documentaries and short films.

In the world of fiction he began as a worthy director until he is currently 1st Assistant Director. He has participated in some 40 projects, highlighting feature films such as Incautos, El Laberinto del Fauno, Los últimos de Filipinas, Adú and in series such as Crematorio, La Zona and La Casa de Papel.

Enrique Arias

He has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid (2003).

He has worked, in the field of audiovisual production, in different series for Galicia Television such as “As Viaxeiras da Lua”. He has been Head of Production on the television series “Hanan. From Morocco to Galicia ”, broadcast by La 2 de TVE.

He has worked as a camera operator and editor for different televisions, such as TVP (Televisión Ponferrada, currently CyL8), Tele Ideal (currently TG7) and Eurosport. In addition, he has a long experience as a direct sound technician for shows. Currently, in addition to serving as head of studies for the school’s image department, he carries out tasks of directing and editing live shows, video clips, short films and documentaries for various production companies, including Curva Polar Producciones.

Javier Vasallo Álvarez

(Madrid, 1989) Degree in Journalism from the Rey Juan Carlos University, Superior Technician in Audiovisuals and Shows and Certificate in Management, Tourism and Entertainment studies from the University of California. He has worked as an editor in various digital journalism media and co-directed and presented the program “Radioactivos” in Onda Cero Zamora. His journalistic work has been combined with different audiovisual projects (video clips, short films, spots), both of his own production and for external producers. Music has always been present in his life and, although it has never been a profession, it is the best dedication. He has had the opportunity to tour playing in a multitude of cities with Baxtards. He also organizes the DeadButLive festival and co-organizes the Morera Reggae Vibes.

He is currently a professor of Image and Sound at the CIFP of Ponferrada in the cycles of Sound and Production for Audiovisuals and Shows.
