“The year 1987. Rubén is a ten-year-old boy who grows up playing tags in the town. He lives with his parents and his grandmother, with the one who spends the afternoons. Rosa tries to ensure that her grandson remains a child and is not aware of the dramatic situation that exists at home and about which she speaks in a low voice.

“Sabina Asenjo, professional discus throwing athlete, current holder of the national record in the discipline, eight-time Spanish champion and Olympic champion in Rio de Janeiro 2016, will face what could be her last months as a thrower, with the goal set at the Spanish Outdoor Athletics Championship. Split between Lillo del Bierzo and León for training, and with two children to take care of, we follow what could be the last turns in the throwing circle of one of the best Spanish throwers in history. Locations: Lillo del Bierzo, Ponferrada, León and Nerja.
