BAFTA Shorts 2022 – the best British short films of the year.
In collaboration with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), the British Council presents the BAFTA SHORTS 2022 program, in order to publicize the short films nominated and awarded at the 2022 edition of the EE British Academy Film Awards.
On this occasion, the 2022 Best British Short Film Award went to the fictional work The Black Cop, while the Best British Animated Short Film Award went to Do Not Feed the Pigeons.
The UK has a long tradition of short film production and both the British Council and BAFTA are aware of the importance of seeking new audiences to support the diversity and talent of British filmmakers.
In the BAFTA SHORTS 2022 are the set of shorts that competed in the categories of Best British Short Film and Best British Animated Short Film.
The eight short films (three of them animated) have a total duration of approximately 148 minutes. They are not suitable for children under 16 years *.
