Synopsis: “The families of the rural environment of the region of El Bierzo, in some of its aspects, maintain a traditional way of life, above all, in the work of the fields and their relationship with nature. Despite the mechanization, several of these works are still carried out by hand, keeping their most ancient essence alive, as is the case with chestnut harvesting. One of the star products of French pastries is Marron Glacé, made with chestnuts.”
