Synopsis: “Portrait of Ennio Morricone, the most popular and prolific film composer of the 20th century, one of the most beloved by the public, a two-time Oscar winner and the author of more than 500 unforgettable soundtracks. A beautiful tribute in the form of a documentary made up of an endearing interview between Tornatore and the Maestro, by testimonials from artists and directors such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Clint Eastwood, Oliver Stone, Quentin Tarantino or Bruce Springsteen, among others, and also by fictional scenes, fragments of his music and archive images. The documentary also sets out to reveal the lesser-known side of Morricone, such as his passion for chess, which may have mysterious links to his music, as well as the real-life origins of some of his musical insights.” .
