“Aaron is a 19-year-old boy with a great attachment to his family. Pilar, her grandmother, suffers from dementia and wants to return to Salcedillo, the town where she was born and where she lived until they moved to Barcelona, but her husband and daughter refuse. Unable to accept her grandmother’s condition, Aarón wants to accompany her to her town and thus, perhaps, delay her inevitable loss.
