Synopsis: “In 1959, Diotino, an employee of Saltos del Sil, worked day and night to mitigate the effects of a flood that endangered the Santo Estevo and San Pedro dams. His neighbors, farmers, continued with his routines. They were not aware of the catastrophe that haunted the works. Nor of the transformation that the regions and their lives were going to endure when they ended. A historical journey on the construction of dams carried out by the company Saltos del Sil (1945-1965) through the rhetoric of archival films, the protagonists, and a historian, who makes clear the construction of the official story of progress ”.
