Synopsis: “Wadjda is ten years old and lives in such a traditional society that certain things such as riding a bike are completely forbidden. Despite everything, she is a fun and enterprising girl who always borders on the edge of what is allowed and what is forbidden. Wadjda wishes she had a bike so that she could raceher friend Abdullah, but her mother won’t allow it because bicycles are dangerous for the dignity of a girl.”
